On behalf of world environmental day the unit of Siddha Medicine celebrated the day on 27/09/2023.On this day 316 students from 6 schools including one pre school had participated and Unit of Siddha Medicine, had exhibited the following for their benefit.
Proposed Department of Gunapaadam – More than 500 Medicinal plants are exhibited for identification in the herbal garden, their medicinal values and usages are explained. Along with this, important medicinal plants are sold in the sales center.
Proposed Department of Noi Naadal Diseases caused by environmental pollution and their prevention is shown in videos and exhibits.
Proposed Department of Moolathathuvam Knowledge about the basic Siddha Sciences are provided.
Awareness Program on Small millets based foods to the school students and teachers in the Chavakachcheri Zone. Kurakan Kool was issed to school students and teachers. Small Millets were exhibited and explained the benefits of these millets in healthy life. Dr.R.Gowribalan(UK) has sponsered for this program.It was very successful this program was cordinted by Dr.T.Thayalini an Dr.S.Sivagnanam Temperory Demonstrators Ms.Shirani, Ms.Dickshini,Mr.Thilaxsan, Ms.Aarani prepared a video clip for the benifits of small millets in healthy life.
